Raising HMHS Britannic

We are proud and honoured to welcome onboard the members of our British Military.

The guys at Team Imjin have got the ball rolling and on April 15th battalions from our British Military bases will be deadlifting to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

HMHS Britannic was the sister ship of the Titanic and following the outbreak of World War 1, became a Hospital ship in 1915.

On 21st November 1916 she struck an underwater mine in the Kea Channel off the Greek Island of Kea and sank 55 minutes later killing 30 people.

1,035 people survived the disaster and she was the largest vessel lost during World War 1.

Alongside the Raising The Titanic event on April 16th our British Military will be undertaking the challenge to raise HMHS Britannic on April 15th and raise money for our cause, Macmillan Cancer Support.
